Manchester United will look to continue its recent surge with a win over Fulham this Saturday as one of the heavy betting favorites on the EPL odds at the sportsbooks.
Since laying off former manager Jose Mourinho back in the middle of December, Manchester United is undefeated over its last eight matches with a 7-1-0 run over that stretch. United will look to keep things rolling with a win on the road this Saturday over Fulham.
Manchester United is a -160 road favorite on the Premier League odds in Fulham at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Over Mourinho’s last six matches, the club had earned only one win with a 1-3-2 record. And over Manchester United’s last six road matches under Mourinho, the team went just 1-2-3.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the helm as the club’s caretaker, United is 7-1-0 with a perfect 4-0 record on the road. Fulham will try to snap that road winning streak going off at +450 to win and +330 to earn a point with a draw.
The stakes will be even higher for Manchester United’s crosstown rival on Sunday as Manchester City (-200) hosts Chelsea (+550 to win, +360 to draw). Manchester City has returned to form with a 6-0-1 record over its last seven matches since going just 1-0-3 over its previous four, and leads the Premier League championship odds.
Chelsea picked up a much-needed win in a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town last Saturday after losing its previous two matches 2-0 at Arsenal and 4-0 at Bournemouth. Since opening the season with an 8-4-0 record, Chelsea is an underwhelming 7-1-5 over its last 13 matches.
Manchester City will likely need this win to keep pace with Liverpool.
First place Liverpool has a favorable matchup as the biggest favorite on the board this weekend going off at -475 at online betting sites at home against Bournemouth (+1400 to win, +600 to draw). In 14 all-time matches between these two clubs, Liverpool holds a 10-3-1 advantage over Bournemouth.
