A legend like Bill Russell deserves a legendary cake, and he got that in celebration of his 85th birthday.

A few things about this very good video.
- I like that Russell is eating cake for his birthday. Power move.
- There are 11 ring pops on the cake, which is a beautiful tribute to his 11 NBA Championships.
- I’m honestly a little surprised those 85 candles didn’t set off a smoke alarm.
- “Every day I wake up ABOVE ground, is a good one” is both the best, and the most-real quote to put on your birthday cake when you’re 85.
- They had a fire extinguisher on hand. I don’t really know what they thought would happen with the cake, but prepare for the worst I guess.
- Once again, cake for breakfast.
