Packers at Seahawks OddsShark Matchup Report

Green Bay Packers

After losing back-to-back games on the road against the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots, the Packers bounced back last Sunday with a 31-12 win at home over the Miami Dolphins.

With the win and cover, Green Bay improved to 4-4-1 SU and 4-5 ATS on the season. The Packers haven’t looked much like the Super Bowl contender they were expected to be this season, but the race for the final wild card spot in the NFC is still very much up for grabs.

To get into the playoff picture, the Packers will need to start winning on the road. Green Bay is 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS in its last six games on the road per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle shook off an 0-2 start to the 2018 season to go 4-1 SU and ATS over their next five games, but have since lost back-to-back games against the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams.

The Seahawks are about as average as their 4-5 SU record would indicate with all four of their wins coming against teams currently under .500 and four of their losses coming from legitimate playoff contenders in Chicago, the Chargers and the Rams. Seattle is 7-0-1 ATS in its last eight games played on a Thursday.

Thursday night’s total is set at 48.5 points. The UNDER is 6-2 in Seattle’s last eight games.

Green Bay and Seattle are two of the five teams in the NFC currently sitting on four wins, and all of those teams are chasing the 5-3-1 Minnesota Vikings for the final wild card spot in the conference. Time is running out for these teams to separate themselves from the pack, and only one of these two squads will pick up an important fifth win this Thursday night.
