The Red Sox clinched their fourth World Series in 14 years Sunday night, defeating the Dodgers four games to one and 5-1 in Game 5 to seal the win. The Red Sox, and Boston as a whole, are pretty well-practiced as far as championship parades go so details are already emerging about the big shindig later this week.

According to WBZ Boston, the parade will kick off at 11 a.m. Wednesday, on Halloween morning. A big party in Boston on Halloween — what could go wrong? For the 11th time since 2002 and the fourth time for this franchise, athletes will roll through the city on duck boats with their families, waving to adoring fans.

The city confirmed plans Monday morning.

Who: The Boston Red Sox, 2018 World Series champions.

Where: Boston, of course. The parade will start on Lansdowne Street near Fenway Park, head over to Boylston and travel up Tremont Street before taking Cambridge Street to New Sudbury and culminating near Government Center. Courtesy of WCVB, that route looks like this:

What: A big parade! The 11th since 2002 for the city.

How: DUCK BOATS. Duck booooooooats!!! For fans, the city is increasing capacity on its public transportation to try and keep things manageable throughout the day.

Fingers crossed this comes to fruition. You said it would happen, David.
